Naoki Kokaze is a Project Associate Professor at the National Museum of Japanese History (NIHU), Japan. He develops digital-humanities methods applying LLMs to historical documents, including CIDOC-CRM knowledge-graph construction from English-language naval records and, with a Shōsōin-documents specialist, a two-stage LLM pipeline for date normalization in eighth-century Japanese administrative texts using TEI markup, presented at TEI2026.
